Is there a tax benefit for business solar?
Section 12B of the Income Tax Act allows a business to deduct the full cost of solar PV under 1 MW in the year it is brought into use. The enhanced 125% deduction under section 12BA ended on 28 February 2025. Check how this applies to your business with your tax practitioner.
Can you work around our trading hours?
Yes. Most of the roof work happens without affecting you, and we schedule the connection for a weekend or after hours.
Do we need batteries?
Not always. If you use most of your power in the day, a grid-tied system without batteries often gives the quickest payback. We show you both options.
